The Reindeer, also known as caribou in Canada, is an imposing animal at a height of 4 feet, that lives in the arctic and subarctic regions of Europe, Asia or even North America. Its coat, brown or gray, composed of hollow hairs isolates it from the rigor of the cold, and its broad hooves are adapted to the walk in the snow. Within this species, males and females are endowed with antlers that develop throughout the year before falling with the arrival of winter for males, and spring for females.
